"I am a folk life artist who listens and collects musical experiences and I have a gentle knack for teaching other people to enhance their own talents and abilities.
I discovered myself on a cold winter's day while walking my dog. At that time I was a counselor at a major university wearing a "perfectly good coat" but knowing in my heart that I really didn't like the fit or color of the garment. The puzzle pieces fell into place and I realized I understood how music, songs, stories, games and the dances of ordinary people intertwine to make a whole picture.
For the past thirty years, I have been fortunate to work with other talented artists and have been given the opportunity to teach and share my gifts in a variety of settings."
